Payer Credentialing Coordinator (part-time, 2nd shift) Children's Wisconsin is hiring an experienced part‑time Payer Credentialing Coordinator to manage the enrollment and credentialing processes for our employed providers with various insurance and managed care entities.

Work Schedule:

Part‑time, 20 hours per week on the 2nd shift.

What you will do:

The Coordinator will coordinate and execute the CHHS employed provider enrollment and credentialing application processes for a wide range of entities, including children’s medical staff, contracted managed care plans, insurance companies, PPO networks, employer direct contracts, and government payers. Responsibilities include accurate data entry, completion of all required information, guiding providers through processes, and communicating with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate completion using Microsoft Excel and Word.

What you will need:

Associate’s Degree preferred; minimum of five years of payer credentialing, managed care, health insurance, or health system experience.

Typing speed of 30+ words per minute preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.

High level of confidentiality when handling sensitive provider information.

Strong customer‑service and interpersonal skills for internal and external interactions.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Detail‑oriented to ensure accurate processing of required data for credentialing timelines.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with both internal and external stakeholders.
