About the Role Novellus Clairemont is seeking a part-time front desk Concierge to be the first point of contact for residents, families, employees, and other guests. The Concierge will greet potential residents, families, visitors; manage both external and internal calls and effectively take and communicate messages. The Concierge provides an overview of community information to inquiries and supports overall needs of the organization.

Work Schedule / Shift 8am-11:30am Wednesday & Thursday / 4pm-8pm Saturday & Sunday

Compensation Starting at $17.25/hour

What You’ll Do

Provide an excellent first impression to residents & guests, always projecting a welcoming and professional image.

Act as the point of reference for residents and families who need assistance or non‑confidential information.

Understand residents and families’ needs and provide them with personalized solutions.

Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises, nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations for our residents and families.

Arrange events, excursions, transportation, etc., upon request from residents and families.

Answer the phone, make reservations, take calls, redirect calls, distribute messages and mail.

Provide a variety of business services such as shipping packages and assisting with printing needs.

Receive, store, and/or deliver mail and luggage.

Acquire daily care items such as toiletries for guests and patrons.

Assist with planning and scheduling special events, parties, or meetings.

Arrange for interpreters or translators when needed.

Develop and maintain service relationships to fulfill the needs of vendors, residents, guests, and employees.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer‑focused orientation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.

Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent administrative skills.

At least two years’ experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.

A high school diploma or a degree in a relevant field.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must continually demonstrate ongoing sustained ability to perform these physical demands:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
