Innovative Skincare, a leading cosmeceutical brand headquartered in Arizona, is seeking an
HR Generalist
to support our manufacturing and distribution facility in Mesa, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the onsite HR presence, ensuring consistent and accurate interpretation and application of company policies, and escalating policy concerns or exceptions as needed.
Provide friendly, professional guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, practices, and programs to ensure clarity, compliance, and support.
Address employee questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring team members feel heard, valued, and supported.
Partner with the corporate Talent Acquisition team on local recruitment, interview coordination, and candidate experience.
Facilitate all onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews, coordination with IT and facilities, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with the payroll team to research and resolve payroll inquiries or discrepancies for Mesa‑based employees.
Act as liaison between the leave management team and local employees regarding leaves of absence, return‑to‑work coordination, and accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines.
Monitor adherence to HR policies, time‑keeping practices, and general workplace conduct; escalate concerns or patterns to leadership as needed.
Partner with supervisors on coaching and performance management conversations, documentation, and corrective actions, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance.
Conduct or support employee relations investigations, gather documentation, and work closely with corporate HR and legal as appropriate.
Coordinate employee engagement and morale‑boosting activities aligned with company values and site culture.
Monitor employee attendance and partner with supervisors on attendance‑related concerns and corrective action.
Support communication and change management efforts during organizational updates, policy roll‑outs, or procedural changes.
Build strong working relationships with all levels of staff and act as a trusted, visible resource onsite.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role, ideally in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution setting.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, performance management, employee relations, and applicable federal and state employment laws.
Ability to build trusted relationships and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP WFN HRIS system.
Additional Information
Fully onsite role, Monday through Friday, based at our Mesa, AZ location.
Virtual interaction with corporate HR team members and occasional travel (5%–10%) required for corporate visits.
Compensation: $70,000 to $73,000 per year.
