Job Description SAIC has new opportunities to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Tech Center in Atlantic City, NJ! These positions are hybrid and may require some travel to other airports within the United States.
Job Responsibilities
Provide support to Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering.
Communicate with Air Traffic, NATCA and Facility Representatives to develop Flight Data Transfer System (FDTS) adaptation.
Convert EFSTS (Electronic Flight Strip Transfer System) Adaptation to Flight Data Transfer System (FDTS) Adaptation.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree and 2-4 years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees.
Knowledge of air traffic operations and procedures in the en route and terminal domains.
Ability to communicate with various organizations within the FAA, including AJM, AJV, AJT, ANG, and NATCA.
Proficient in Linux and GIT.
Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as, have the ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments.
