Social Media Manager Position Summary
PRIME VACATIONS is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join the team. This role is not just about posting content; it’s about understanding our brand’s unique voice, driving meaningful engagement, and strategically positioning PRIME VACATIONS on social media as a leader in the vacation‑rental industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and an aptitude for analyzing data to maximize the impact of our social media and paid advertising efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategies: Craft comprehensive, data‑driven strategies aligned with business goals to boost brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
Content creation and management: Create, curate, and schedule compelling content (including text, images, and video) that reflects our brand voice and resonates with target audiences across multiple brands within the PRIME VACATIONS portfolio.
Community engagement: Build and nurture online communities by responding promptly to comments, direct messages, and reviews while fostering a positive, engaging brand presence that drives guest loyalty and repeat business.
Influencer and partnership collaboration: Identify, vet, and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors to amplify reach and engagement. Partner with local businesses, tourism organizations, and hospitality partners to generate authentic, cobranded content and mutually beneficial promotions.
Campaign and paid advertising management: Plan, execute, and optimize organic and paid social campaigns. Track spend and performance to ensure efficient budget use and maximize ROI.
Analytics and reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Sprout Social. Translate insights into actionable strategies to improve engagement, conversions, and brand awareness.
Trend monitoring and innovation: Stay current on emerging trends, platform updates, and digital best practices—especially within Meta, Google, and short‑form video platforms—to keep PRIME VACATIONS ahead of competitors.
Cross‑department collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, PR, and operations teams to ensure all social efforts align with broader marketing initiatives, brand guidelines, and company objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, with expertise in managing and optimizing paid ads.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, metrics, tools, and current trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong creative and analytical abilities.
Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Hootsuite).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a marketing or communications team.
Strong understanding of content strategy and storytelling across social and digital platforms.
Demonstrated success managing multibrand social media accounts or portfolios.
Proficiency with social analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite).
Experience collaborating with influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors to drive engagement and awareness.
Proven ability to identify and manage local partnerships that align with brand values and community initiatives.
Knowledge of paid social advertising, campaign optimization, and audience segmentation.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Experience developing strategies for both B2C and B2B audiences.
Understanding of SEO principles and how social content contributes to search visibility.
Excellent written and visual communication skills, with a keen eye for design and brand consistency.
Passion for travel, hospitality, and community engagement, with a pulse on emerging trends in the vacation‑rental and tourism industries.
