7:00 am-3:30 pm Key Responsibilities
Programming, operating, and maintaining Zeiss Calypso CMM systems to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and precision Extensive experience with Zeiss Calypso software, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a deep understanding of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and quality control procedures Act as a technical lead of the site CMM programming group, plan and manage team workload Plan, develop, and proof CMM inspection programs for complex parts, components, and assemblies Contribute to the development of a cost‑effective inspection system Devise strategies for system enhancements that assure long‑range integrity and cost efficacy of the measurement system Develop and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software; program and operate Zeiss CMMs Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate measurement and reporting Perform precise dimensional inspections and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications Troubleshoot CMM programs and resolve measurement issues to maintain smooth operational performance Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve part quality and measurement processes Maintain Zeiss CMM equipment and ensure proper calibration in accordance with manufacturer guidelines Provide training to quality inspectors/quality personnel on CMM operation Required Skills / Attributes
Associates Degree (or equivalent) in a technical field; combination of education/experience may be considered in lieu of a degree At least 7 years of programming experience, with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software preferred Above‑average knowledge of complex GD&T blueprints and SMM systems Compliance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.); employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position Seniority Level
