Job Summary Under general supervision, the Strategic Initiatives and Support Specialist provides support to the School of Education by coordinating student‑focused initiatives, assisting with assessment and accreditation reporting, and delivering essential office support services. The position plays a key role in advancing the School’s mission by engaging with prospective candidates, supporting compliance and data processes, and ensuring efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate student‑focused initiatives.
Assist with assessment and accreditation reporting.
Deliver essential office support services.
Engage with prospective candidates, support compliance and data processes.
Ensure efficient daily operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Professionalism and approachability when working with parents, students, and adult learners.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively on both Mac and PC platforms.
Proficiency with computer data management systems including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/Creative Suite.
Self‑starter with ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑service orientation.
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple people during high‑volume periods.
Collaborative with faculty, staff, and external partners.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
One or more years of job‑related experience.
