IT Help Desk Coordinator

Location:

Memphis, TN Area (Corporate Office)

Company Overview:

We are a dynamic and rapidly growing service-based company with a distributed workforce across the United States. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Information Technology Professional early in their career to join our IT team based out of our Memphis, TN area corporate office. This role will be key to ensuring smooth daily operations by providing technical assistance and support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows systems.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, and peripherals.

Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.

Document issues, solutions, and processes in the help desk knowledge base.

Escalate complex problems to higher-level IT staff or external vendors as needed.

Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and routine maintenance.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning and decommissioning user equipment.

Participate in ongoing IT projects and contribute ideas to improve help desk efficiency.

Required Skills:

3–5 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role (or equivalent technical training).

Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows and mobile operating systems.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi‑Fi).

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration tools.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Problem‑solving mindset and customer service skills.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

On‑site at the corporate office.

May require occasional scheduled after‑hours support.

Salary Range:

$55,000–$75,000 based on experience.
