Bone Densitometry Technologist I

Bone Densitometry Technologist
who is ready to make a difference — one scan at a time.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in assessing bone health, helping to diagnose conditions like osteoporosis, and supporting our diagnostic radiology team when needed. You’ll work closely with adult and geriatric patients, ensuring their comfort while delivering top-tier imaging services.
What You’ll Do
Perform bone density scans (DXA), vertebral assessments, and body composition studies.
Conduct daily equipment checks, quality control scans, and data analysis.
Collaborate with providers to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Support clinical research and maintain external quality control standards.
Step in to assist with diagnostic radiology during downtime or staffing shortages.
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay at the forefront of imaging technology.
What You Bring
Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification (or registry eligible).
Bone Densitometry certification is a
plus .
2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients with varying mobility levels.
Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
