Join us to help create, build, and enhance impactful marketing initiatives across the West Coast.
As our new Marketing Manager North America, West Coast, your mission is to develop new and maintain existing marketing initiatives for our monobrand channel within the United States and Canada. This new hire will be a vital member of the team and ensure the implementation and execution of strategies that result in immediate revenue growth and mid to long-term strategic brand positioning for Bang & Olufsen within North America. Key responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of integrated marketing programs within US & Canada to promote all product launches, drive periods, brand campaigns, and global marketing priorities In partnership with the Head of Marketing and West Coast Market Director, develop a comprehensive regional rolling 12-month plan according to the overall strategy of North America and within the allotted marketing budget Co-develop a marketing co-op program with each monobrand partner that supports the national rolling 12-month plan and overall strategy of North America. Pitch programs to each monobrand dealer and maintain communication throughout the duration of the year to plan and implement strategies in partnership with regional stakeholders Collaborate and execute applicable global marketing programs in the North American market including media plans (both digital & OOH), paid digital, direct mail, CRM programs, in-store collateral, promotional offers, visual merchandising, and events Co-develop and execute all Visual Merchandising standards across all channels/stores Maintain store pages via YEXT platform Event management & ownership in support of new product launches and select drive periods Create and execute marketing initiatives to support all new store openings, including new store opening events and tactics to attract traffic to the showrooms Build relationships with each external counterpart to support account management in partnership with the Sales lead and Market Director Analyze sell-out in partnership with Sales lead and Market Director to evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns and programs What you bring
We seek someone with proficient relationship-building skills and with experience leading marketing activities for a premium or luxury brand across North America. We imagine that you are someone who is an established partner to sales teams, working closely with key account managers to increase sell-through with ‘brick & mortar’ retailers. More specifically, you bring: A degree in Business/Marketing 5+ years of all-round experience in Marketing within brand or product marketing Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain relationships with a diverse segment of retailers – experience working with ‘brick & mortar’ and e-tail. Ability to partner with Global colleagues and regionalize campaigns Proficient relationship building, with an ability to adjust approach and message based on the audience. Proficient in overseeing financial resources. Overall strategic understanding of return on investment and business operations. Strategic thinker, but pragmatic implementer. Highly organized and structured Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint Strategy development and implementation within assigned area in line with overall B&O North America strategy Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills Understanding of luxury and lifestyle market including trends, products and players Understanding or ability to learn the consumer electronics market including trends, technology, products and players. As well as collaborating with our North American Marketing & Communications team, this role will have a close partnership with the Sales Managers who lead the relationships with our monobrand partners. Additionally, the new Monobrand Marketing Manager will regularly interact with our global marketing and sales support teams in Denmark. You will join our expanding North American team – situated our office in California this position report to the Head of Marketing, who is based in New York City, however you will dotted line to the Market Director for the West Coast, who is based in California.
