SA Hospitality Group is an Italian‑owned hospitality company with a strong New York presence, operating the brands Sant Ambroeus, Casa Lever, and Felice across 24 restaurants in Manhattan, Southampton, East Hampton, Aspen, Milan, and Palm Beach.
Position Purpose This person is responsible for overseeing the staff and operations of the bar, including planning, controlling, and ordering of beverages.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Lead bar logistics efficiency: correct setup, adequate staffing, neat display.
Create new offerings for bar and lounge guests: cocktails, by‑the‑glass wines, new liquor brands.
Develop staff beverage training and materials.
Review bar performance: sales, most/least selling items, promotional mix.
Maintain bar and lounge policies: liquor stocking, inventory counts, storage.
Ensure safety procedures are followed.
Maintain beverage quality to brand standards and monitor par levels.
Update beverage pricing to reflect market values.
Assist with bar/lounge scheduling and POS updates.
Respond to guest requests and support dining room staff with beverage tasks.
Complete daily Avero reports and closing checklists.
Communicate beverage issues to staff and resolve conflicts.
Maintain professional demeanor and provide pre‑shift support.
Minimal Essential Requirements
Ability to work as part of a team; personal cleanliness.
Basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills.
Strong communication and direction understanding in English.
Time management and ability to work under pressure in high volume.
Active listening and learning skills.
Reading and speaking comprehension.
Discipline to follow set standards.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Education / Certifications
Strong wine knowledge; ideally a certified sommelier.
