Hourly Rate: $19.00-21.00 per hour | Based on education and experience

Merryhill Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Infant Teacher to lead the classroom at our premier preschool in Sacramento, CA. What You’ll Do

Oversee daily classroom operations and ensure full compliance with state licensing regulations.

Design and implement thoughtful and intentional lessons that encourage student growth and development.

Build meaningful relationships with families and create a welcoming school culture.

Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff.

What We’re Looking For

12 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education OR an awarded CDA in the appropriate age group.

Infant and toddler teachers must have completed 3 Infant Toddler ECE Units.

A minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

The ability to often carry and lift 25 pounds or less and occasionally carry 25-50 pounds.

Signing Bonus Details

This position is eligible for a signing bonus of $2,500, paid in installments: $500 after 30 days of employment, $1,000 after 90 days of employment, and $1,000 after 6 months of employment. All bonus payments are subject to standard tax withholdings.
