Duties & Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day operations of the project under the guidance of study Principal Investigator (PI).
Collection and analysis of participant data and assist in dissemination of project results.
Supervision of a Graduate Research Assistant.
Assisting with additional research activities including maintaining Human Subjects approvals and coordinating with the Research Study Coordinator and clinical staff to identify and schedule participants.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must have completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a health-sciences related discipline by July 1, 2025.
Excellent writing skills required, as evidenced by publications or grant‑writing experience.
Must possess strong self‑motivation, problem‑solving ability, and open communication.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of professionalism, respect, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a postdoctoral fellow at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with individuals with lower limb loss.
Experience with mixed methods research designs.
Salary Range $52,704+ (commensurate with experience)
FLSA Exemption Status Exempt
