Position Summary

Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution and service of all catered and concessions events. The Manager must be personable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment, training and developing all service staff, maintaining excellent attendance, and being available for events as needed. This role pays an annual salary of $69,000–$79,000.

This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.

Responsibilities

Overall management of catering and concessions food and beverage operations, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, ordering, inventory, labor costs, and equipment maintenance.

Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the venue.

Generate and review financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, and P&L statements.

Conflict resolution, mediation, arbitration and labor negotiations when applicable.

Oversee serving meals and beverages to guests, including checking IDs for alcohol.

Respond to guests’ requests and determine meal completion.

Execute all directives stated in banquet event orders.

Complete and update administrative paperwork associated with events.

Maintain tableware and linens as necessary.

Identify ingredients and explain menu preparation.

Assist in setting up banquet functions with linens, dishware, glassware and silverware.

Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards.

Show excellent attendance and ensure equipment operates and is clean before events.

Recognize intoxicated guests and cut off alcohol.

Lead F&B team with projects including training, inventory and special events.

Lead concessions department when business demands.

Know union contract contents.

Enforce all Oak View Group policies and procedures.

Practice excellent HR skills regarding employee relations, corrective action, coaching, counseling and paperwork.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant General Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications

3‑5 years experience managing in a high‑volume, fast‑paced restaurant or catering environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to supervise the work of others.

Clear, respectful communication with employees, co‑workers, volunteers, management staff and guests.

English speaking, reading and writing.

Team‑oriented, fast‑paced, event‑driven work environment.

Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required.

Accurate cash handling and basic math skills for POS transactions, reconciliation and inventory.

2‑year degree in Business Management or Hospitality preferred.
