This is a grant‑funded position. The post‑doctoral fellow will support research on periconceptional and perinatal health behaviors, including substance‑exposed pregnancies, and will be affiliated with the NIH‑funded HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) study.

Responsibilities

Manuscript preparation from existing datasets

Recruiting and retaining study participants in a longitudinal trial

Data collection activities with pregnant people

Data collection activities with infants and young children

Data analysis and co‑authoring scientific articles from primary datasets

Opportunities to mentor graduate and undergraduate students and support mentored grantsmanship (e.g., K‑series applications).

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. or equivalent conferred on or before the start date.

Doctoral degree in Public Health, Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or a related discipline.

Strong scientific writing skills with a solid publication record, clinical research experience, and quantitative data analytic proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in perinatal health and substance‑exposed pregnancy or previous study coordination on federally‑funded studies.

Bilingual in Spanish.
