Position Overview We are looking for an experienced

SDR with construction technology (ConTech) SaaS experience

to help shape the future of AI in construction. You already understand how contractors buy software. You’ve sold to project managers, preconstruction teams, or operations leaders. You know their pain points, their language, and what it takes to get their attention. You come equipped with a working network and the confidence to generate value from day one.

You’ll work directly with our Founder and CEO,

Jean-Pierre Trou , an award-winning licensed architect with more than 20 years of experience in architecture and construction. Together with the leadership team, you will refine and scale mbue’s outbound sales motion from the ground up. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to grow into a sales leader in a high‑growth startup.

Key Responsibilities

Research, identify, and engage high‑value prospects across commercial contractors, subcontractors, and construction technology partners.

Generate qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, including calls, emails, and LinkedIn.

Leverage your existing network in the ConTech space to accelerate lead generation and introductions.

Master mbue’s value proposition to articulate how our AI platform solves contractors’ biggest pain points.

Manage and grow top‑of‑funnel pipeline to support monthly and quarterly revenue goals.

Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to refine messaging, test campaigns, and track results.

Maintain accurate records of outreach, pipeline status, and performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of outbound SDR or BDR experience selling ConTech or construction software.

Proven track record of generating pipeline and closing meetings in the AEC industry.

A strong network of decision‑makers and influencers in the commercial construction ecosystem.

Excellent communication skills, especially conversational phone skills and resilience in high‑volume outreach.

Self‑starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable testing, learning, and iterating quickly.

Experience with HubSpot, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Deep familiarity with AEC workflows (preconstruction, design, coordination, or field ops).
