Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
A growing distribution company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and who is adept at driving financial success.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
Prepare supporting information for the annual audit with the external auditor.
Document and maintain complete supporting information for all financial transactions.
Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
Oversee bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to secure personnel and financial information.
Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create decision‑support models, and streamline cost analysis operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s or CPA is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success.
Strong knowledge of detailed financial data analysis, cash flow management, and monthly reporting.
Proficiency with advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
Experience partnering with executive staff to develop and implement creative financial strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
High integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Excellent analytical, abstract reasoning, and organizational skills.
