House Manager / Personal Assistant We are looking for a sharp, dependable, and highly organized individual to support a principal whose life blends international responsibilities, strategic decision‑making, and a strong focus on family. This role is a key leadership position within a fast‑paced, multifaceted household. The right candidate thrives in high‑demand environments, approaches work with both professionalism and warmth, and is excited by the opportunity to grow and evolve the role over time.

Employer The principal is a globally involved strategic advisor and board member with a demanding travel schedule, often spending extended periods abroad. The House Manager will work in close partnership with the principal’s sister, who has a wealth of knowledge on the principal’s personal and professional affairs. Regular communication with UK‑based team members, household vendors, and additional staff supporting relatives will be part of the day‑to‑day rhythm.

Responsibilities

Calendar & Travel Management – manage a dynamic, multi‑time‑zone calendar that includes business meetings, personal appointments, family routines, and travel coordination; oversee itineraries, packing preparation, hotel and activity planning; conduct regular check‑ins to align on daily priorities; support meetings or social events with briefing notes, background research, and logistical details.

Household Oversight – maintain comprehensive inventories of household and personal items; streamline systems between primary residence and travel setups; handle mail intake and package management; coordinate with vendors and service providers; supervise housekeeping services and ensure standards are upheld.

Personal & Family Support – act as a trusted point of contact for the principal and close family; assist with planning and executing family gatherings, celebrations, holidays; provide structure when the principal is traveling; maintain clear communication across family routines.

Communication & Administrative Support – draft, edit, and manage personal and professional correspondence; monitor and manage multiple email accounts; keep digital files, contact lists, and notes organized; assist with light project management; anticipate needs and offer solutions pre‑emptively.

Qualifications

Proven experience supporting senior executives, entrepreneurs, or public figures in personal or executive assistant roles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High level of organization, attention to detail, and composure in fast‑paced situations.

Proficiency with communication tools such as Apple Calendar, Google Workspace, Outlook.

Dependable, discreet, and adaptable to family‑oriented household dynamics.

Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (vehicle stipend provided).

Willingness to travel occasionally with sufficient advance notice.
