Job Summary Assist in developing a well‑trained sales staff that meets or exceeds all sales quotas, increases market share and customer base within established budgetary levels while maintaining the highest ethical standards and observing Company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist the Sales Manager in developing a well‑trained sales staff.
Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to ensure Sales Counselors meet or exceed customer needs.
Help manage Sales Counselors as their primary reference regarding aftercare process, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, closing skills, pricing, terms, paperwork, and compliance.
Assist with staff management and leadership.
Meet and exceed established location sales quotas.
Assist Sales Counselors with utilizing methods set forth in training manuals while observing company policies.
Develop marketing programs that complement geography, demographics, ethnicity, or religions of the community.
Analyze competitor pricing and plan community events to develop prospects and heighten awareness.
Review contracts, approve discounts, and prepare compliance reports.
Maintain marketing materials, training manuals, sales equipment, and ensure sales programs and incentives are budgeted and approved.
Maintain sales rooms and offices clean and professional.
Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct, licensing, and federal, state, or local regulations.
Qualifications
High school or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Sales experience not required, but experience presenting, training, coaching and motivating salespeople is a plus.
Valid state/province driver’s license with good driving record.
Insurance license as required by state/province law.
Working knowledge of Windows‑based PC environment and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems (a plus).
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work beyond standard business hours when necessary.
Ability to set challenging but achievable goals for employees.
Compensation Base salary range: $69,000 to $111,700 earnings potential.
