Retail Store Manager position at Circle K. Location: Frontier BU - Region 01 - Market 03: 5929 New Cut Rd, Louisville, Kentucky 40214. Flexible shift availability. This role requires leadership, store operations management and customer service excellence. Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Ability to supervise and train staff in use of equipment and procedures as described for CSR and ASM roles. Ability to supervise and manage functions listed for CSR and ASM roles. Proficiency with computer use for reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from bank and management meetings. Ability to communicate (oral and written) in English. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Skills

Leadership and Management

Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service. Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and maintained per Company standards. Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors. Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image. Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and disciplinary actions. Site Relationships

Develop positive relationships with suppliers. Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally. Promote and maintain a safe, positive public image in the neighboring community. Training and Development

Prepare timely performance appraisals in writing and provide performance-based feedback. Train all employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards. Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Communication

Ensure timely and clear communication with all employees. Establish periodic ongoing communication meetings with all site employees and the Market Manager. Organizing and Planning

Evaluate and develop action plans to meet site objectives. Organize and maintain site files and manuals. Manage and supervise store employees to ensure reports are completed accurately and on time. Ensure merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly. Ensure employment posters and signs are easily accessible to all employees. Financial

Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and net profits. Budget and forecast P&L lines and manage merchandise margins. Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed. Perform financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits. Working Conditions

Primarily indoors; may perform outdoor tasks such as cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, and waste removal. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures in storage areas. Occasional exposure to noise. Operate with minimal supervision and lead as an effective manager. Note
