Overview

Our administrators are the first single point of access for referrals and enquiries into the Hospice. You will liaise with colleagues and wider hospice teams, as well as external health care professionals, family members and carers to provide a responsive and professional administrative service. Main duties

The successful candidate will be flexible, very organised and capable of managing tasks simultaneously and accurately. We are looking for someone who will respond positively to change and embrace new challenges. You will have excellent communication skills with a strong personal resilience as you will be required, on occasions, to respond sensitively to people who may be emotionally distressed. You do not need to have experience of palliative or end of life care, we will provide you with full training and support. About us

Systems Administrative Assistant Employer : Saint Catherine’s Hospice, Scarborough Location : Scarborough, North Yorkshire Are you an experienced and hard-working administrator with a 'can do' approach to your work? Would you like to play a vital role in the support of our patient care by providing effective and efficient administrative support to both our clinical and business support teams? If this is you then we would like you to join our friendly and forward-thinking administration team. Qualifications Skills Knowledge and Experience

GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above, or equivalent Strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Sharepoint and Excel Experience of SystmOne Experience of working within an healthcare environment Disclosure and Barring Service Check
