Lead recruitment, hiring and training of employees to ensure excellent customer service. Develop, manage and assign tasks to maintain a clean, adequately stocked site in line with Company standards. Maintain a professional image among subordinates and supervisors. Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image. Promote non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees. Develop positive relationships with suppliers; resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner. Promote a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community. Prepare ongoing and timely performance appraisals in writing; provide proper performance-based feedback. Train all employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards; train on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Establish timely communication with all site employees and the Market Manager; develop methods to ensure proper communication. Evaluate and develop action plans to reach site objectives; organize and maintain site files and manuals. Manage and supervise store employees to ensure required reports are completed accurately and timely; ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed attractively and priced correctly; ensure employment posters are accessible. Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and net profits; budget and forecast P&L lines; safeguard and account for money; perform financial analyses as needed. Perform duties indoors with some outdoor work for site maintenance; respond to occasional cold temperatures and noise; work with minimal direction and supervision. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Ability to supervise and train for equipment, tools and materials listed in related CSR/ASM job descriptions; supervise and manage related functions. Ability to use a computer and analyze reports, inventory control, cash control, notices, etc. Valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and management meetings. Ability to communicate (oral and written) in English. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Working Conditions
Primarily indoor work; some outdoor work to clean parking lots, pumps, waste areas. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures in walk-in cooler/freezer and to noise. Work with a minimum of direction and supervision; act as effective manager, supervisor and leader. Legal and Company Information
