As a Coat Check Attendant, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional service to our valued members and guests by efficiently managing their checked items with professionalism, kindness, and a genuine warmth. You will be the friendly face that greets and ensures their belongings are safely stored and returned.
Your role goes beyond the essentials; it's about creating memorable WOW experiences and maintaining a well‑organized coat check area.
In this role, you will not only meet the essential functions but also contribute to the overall success of our coat check service and the exceptional experience we provide to our members and guests. Your commitment to hospitality and organization is at the heart of what we do.
Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour. This role is considered entry-level
Seasonal Part Time. This position will be less than 30 scheduled hours per week.
Opening Shift:
Sunday: off
Monday: 4:45am-11:00am
Tuesday: 4:45am-11:00am
Wednesday: 4:45am-11:00am
Thursday: 4:45am-11:00am
Friday: 4:45am-11:00am
Saturday: off
Closing Shift:
Sunday: 1:45-8:00pm
Monday: 5:00-10:00pm
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: off
Thursday: off
Friday: 5:00-10:00pm
Saturday: 1:45-8:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
Treat members, guests & employees with fairness, integrity, positivity, and consistency.
Deliver a strong & consistent work ethic.
Accept item(s) checked by members and guests by following number system implemented.
Return proper item(s) to members and guests, following the same number system.
Thorough understanding of our check system upon inquiry.
Have a general familiarity of the Club in order to answer members' inquiries.
Ability to keep Coat Check organized and items in numerical order.
Ability to make movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level.
Requirements:
Sitting and standing for sustained periods of time.
Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
Movement with fingers, hands, wrists, legs, and arms.
Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level.
Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
