Ebenezer Job Overview: Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings make up this vibrant community and it also encompasses an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. This caregiver position includes providing personal cares and designated health-related services to improve and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being. Training to pass medications is provided. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old. Responsibilities Personal Care Assistance including bathing, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and assistance with hearing aids and/or glasses 1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical lifts Health-Related Support: assists with treatments as outlined in individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (e.g., blood glucose monitoring) Administers or assists with medications, including insulin injections, as directed by a Registered Nurse Takes and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration Daily Living Support: assists with household tasks including laundry, cleaning, meal service, and resident activities Resident Observation & Reporting: monitors and reports changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition and communicates observations to appropriate staff Acts as a mandated reporter, promptly reporting any concerns related to potential mistreatment Emergency Response: responds appropriately to resident needs and building emergencies following established protocols Required Qualifications Less than 1 year experience Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines If under 18 must be on the MN NA registry Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years experience Benefit Overview Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more.
