You will be responsible for supporting Project and Construction Managers, project teams, and field personnel in all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance. Your focus will be to build trust, ensure compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture that prevents incidents and protects people, property, and the environment. This role plays a key part in implementing Worley’s vision of “delivering a more sustainable world.” Core Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HSE support and guidance to project teams, supervisors, and contractors. Implement and maintain HSE management systems, ensuring alignment with Worley standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. Conduct and lead site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Facilitate incident investigations and support root cause analysis to promote learning and continuous improvement. Participate in planning sessions to evaluate HSE implications of project activities, equipment use, and site logistics. Deliver engaging HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to strengthen team understanding and accountability. Monitor and analyze HSE performance data, trends, and leading indicators to guide preventive actions. Collaborate with leadership to develop project-specific HSE plans and emergency response strategies. Communicate effectively across teams and disciplines to ensure clarity, consistency, and follow-through on safety priorities. What You’ll Bring to the Role
A university degree in a relevant field (such as Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering) or equivalent professional experience. At least 5 years of practical HSE experience within construction, energy, or industrial project environments. Full working knowledge of HSE principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices across multiple disciplines. Strong situational awareness and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to make sound decisions under minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to influence, coach, and build trust across diverse teams. Experience with HSE management systems, incident investigation tools, and data analysis platforms. A collaborative mindset, passion for continuous learning, and a commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
