Job Description This team member will provide proper training and supervision of all personnel including supervisors. To insure prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures. To ensure the overall success of the restaurant by guest satisfaction surveys and utilizing financial controls.

Responsibilities

Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Understands associates positions well enough to perform duties in associate\'s absence. Understand local contract and adhere to it.

Responsible for the day to day operation for all restaurant functions, to include efficient and effective running of all events ensuring operating costs are minimized.

Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation awareness standards. Prepare daily for health department and Ecosure inspections.

Responsible for the supervision, upkeep, safety and cleanliness in food preparation areas, refrigeration, storage areas, hallways, corridors and storerooms.

Adhere to all proper trash procedures.

Work with Directors of Food & Beverage to plan and implement menu development. Produce current and creative displays that speak to hotel concepts.

Maintain up to date knowledge of local and international market trends to maximize sales opportunities.

Maintain up to date knowledge of local competitor\'s food and beverage offerings.

Work with Sales to assist in promotion of public events, in-house events, site visits, tastings, etc.

Work with the Director of Procurement to maintain control of the standards for purchasing, receiving and storing items.

Forecast volume to control food and beverage quantities and maximize profitability by avoiding over/under production.

Establish steps of service for all outlets and monitor associates to ensure compliance.

Ensure leadership floor coverage during peak outlet hours.

Conduct monthly micros audits to ensure correct pricing and accurate associate access levels.

Assist in budgeting process. Control overheads and achieve budget throughout the year. Report all variances from budget with reason and corrective action.

Manage day to day operation to inspect all restaurant outlets including Kestra (3 meal) and Legato (Grab & Go) to ensure standards are maintained. Ensure high-quality cleanliness, service, food quality and presentation.

Ensure positive guest service and respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.

Familiarizes oneself with repeat client/guests to ensure consistent recognition.

Communicate daily with outlet leadership team to discuss events, forecast, projects and associate status.

Supervise outlet sanitation operation and timing of service from kitchen to ensure prompt delivery and quality control.

Complete financial and personnel administrative duties on time in accordance with company policies (e.g., invoices, payroll, daily recap, requisitions).

Conduct daily stand-up meetings with associates to share relevant information.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all restaurant space (FOH & BOH) per blueprint layout when not in use.

Schedule and conduct daily/weekly walk-throughs. Maintain all furniture, fixtures and equipment; submit work orders as needed.

Schedule and conduct monthly food and beverage inventories.

Review staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs and financial objectives; maintain productivity of associates.

Execute Restaurant Event Orders and handle special requests and pop-ups as needed.

Attend pre-convention meetings as needed.

Recruit and interview team members. Train, supervise, follow up and manage; hold associates accountable for performance.

Develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish set objectives.

Motivate and lead staff; promote sound financial and business decision making.

Foster mutual trust, respect and cooperation; ensure fair treatment and improve associate engagement and retention.

Solicit associate feedback, review satisfaction results and address concerns; ensure recognition is ongoing.

Maintain a professional appearance and high personal hygiene according to Omni standards.

Respond swiftly to emergencies and maintain a safe guest and work environment.

Attend required department trainings and meetings and perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of five years progressive experience in Food & Beverage Management, with at least two years in a senior leadership position.

Bachelor\'s Degree or Equivalent.

Union environment experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of food cost and inventories.

Ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations.

Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking to guests and conducting meetings.

Proven track record of motivating managers and associates to meet goals and provide high-quality guest experiences.

Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, checkbook management, productivity, inventory controls, P&L analysis, and cost controls.

Strong computer and technical skills, including on-line purchasing systems.

Ability to analyze turnover trends and implement corrective actions.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent; handle progressive discipline/coaching.

Proven ability to engage associates at all levels and collaborate with Sales and Catering.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Must meet standards of appearance and maintain high personal hygiene.

Passion for providing warm, engaging, personalized service.

Serve Safe certified food manager; unexpired TIPs required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.

Extensive hands-on F&B knowledge across multiple outlets, banquets, inventories, menu development and P&L responsibilities.

Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.

Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests, management and co-workers.

Knowledge of federal, state, local laws on equal employment opportunity, safety, wage and hour, and labor relations.

Environment & Physical Requirements

Interior of hotel, in restaurant and kitchen areas with exposure to steam, humidity and extreme temperatures.

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.

Ability to bend, reach and lift up to 50lbs; push/pull/carry up to 100lbs.

Exposure to hazardous cleaning chemicals.

Certifications:

ServSafe Food Handlers Certification; TiPS/RBS Certification.

Pay Range:

Starting at $70K salary. The pay scale provided is a range Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate\'s qualifications and/or experience.
