Overview

This position is responsible for providing extensive information to operational leaders across the company in order to assist them in decision-making. Understands, researches, and analyzes electronic games, tables, financial statements, marketing efforts, labor, capital projects, and special projects as necessary. Promoting and maintaining the credibility of the department is always essential. Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor’s Degree in finance, mathematics, accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related discipline with strong mathematical analytical skillset. Four (4) years of financial or data analysis within a gaming environment may be substituted for bachelor’s degree. The successful candidate will be extremely adept at understanding the creation and mining of databases, inferring cause and effect, determining relationship between business drivers and profitability. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau); use of Synkros, Enterprise Accounting Systems, and Enterprise BI preferred. Basic programming knowledge with the ability to learn data analytics language such as SQL, Python, and DAX preferred. Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license. Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License. Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States. Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos. GUEST SERVICES: Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times. Cooperates and communicates with all fellow employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude. Responds to complaints and/or inquiries promptly and politely. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance. Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, objectives of the Osage Nation, internal policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, ONGR, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act. COMMUNICATION: Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter. Effectively relates ideas for improvements, as well as soliciting employee input, both inside and outside the department. Provides timely and accurate analysis of departmental related statistics, analytical reports, budgets and related operating expenses to assist the department functions in an effective, efficient, and profitable manner. DEPARTMENTAL OPERATIONS Upon request an analyst will be expected to learn and perform in any or all of the following analytical disciplines. The following task list is not all-inclusive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. Analyzes marketing, entertainment, and Player Services information, including but not limited to, evaluation of promotions and events, revenue build and marketing calendar, headcount, evaluation and recommendations of direct mail strategy, assisting and evaluating marketing’s daily revenue reporting, and other reports as requested or assigned. Analyzes financial statements, including but not limited to preparing and uploading the annual budget by month, noting significant variances between actual, budget and prior year reviews. Maintains and updates dashboard. Analyzes electronic gaming machine information, including but not limited to location and bank analysis, par to actual, revenue by floor space, and other game analyses. Analyzes table games, including but not limited to revenue, win, hold, and match play analyses. Studies labor in reference to various other data. Maintains databases regarding electronic game revenue, table games, headcount, and others as necessary. Analyzes capital projects for sensitivity, cost-benefit, and optimum change as necessary. Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Read, write, speak and understand the English language. Read Company or departmental reports, newsletters, and documents. Prefer knowledge of Synkros Experience using Enterprise BI and MS Office. SQL at an advanced skill level: Querying, creating and updating scripts, creating recurring ETL scripts, creating and updating tables and Views, and Data verification and updates. Perform complex mathematical computations Safeguard and Protect the Company’s value and reputation by keeping information confidential. Machine learning-based forecasting/modeling experience is a plus Knowledge of casino operations desired Perform assigned tasks under minimal to moderate supervision. Follow written and verbal instructions. Establish and maintain positive relationships with managerial staff, co-workers, guests, and the general public. Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Present information and suggestions in oral and written form. Prepare written documents and complete reports as required. Utilize MS Office products at an advanced skill level. Exercise sound judgment and seek guidance for decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job duties and responsibilities. See problems and avoid situations that could be deemed illegal or represent a safety hazard to fellow employees or guests. Respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, regulatory agencies, and others. Travel locally or regionally as needed. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; and developing or maintaining professional networks. The employee must be able to lift a maximum of 30 lbs and push, pull, or drag up to 100 lbs.
