General Information
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Ormond Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial excellence by analyzing business performance, ensuring cost control, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an on‑site role reports to the Business Controller and will collaborate closely with various teams to support the company s financial goals.
Key Skills ADVANCED EXCEL, MANUFACTURING ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE and COST CONTROL are the top three hard must‑have skills required for this role.
Your Responsibilities
Cost Control & Analysis: Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs to identify variances and trends; collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste.
Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile the balance sheet and ensure all financial records comply with accounting standards and company policies, including intercompany transactions.
Business Performance Analysis: Evaluate financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision‑making; prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business goals.
Journal Entries & General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Financial Reporting & Support: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management; support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Reconcile the purchasing receipts to the Accounts Payable ledgers.
Review, edit and ensure accurate Accounts Payable data.
Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet Accounts.
Review invoices and statements with the Purchasing Department.
Your Background
3+ years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong Microsoft EXCEL skills (capability to manipulate large volumes of data).
Experience with SAP (Preferred).
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask.
