As we scale, we’re hiring a Social Art Director to run day-to-day social operations and deepen cultural engagement across some of the world’s most iconic IPs. Role Overview

DANG is hiring a Social Art Director with deep visual instincts, motion design chops, and a sixth sense for what makes content stick. In this role, you’ll lead design and motion ideation across social-first campaigns, creator collabs, and community drops creating thumb-stopping, culture-shaping work that lives natively on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. You’re fluent in lo-fi and high craft, experimental by nature, and have the design precision to bring bold ideas to life, frame by frame, scroll by scroll. You’ll collaborate closely with our Social Creative Producers, Strategists, and community manager talent to shape stories that punch above their weight and travel fast. Key Responsibilities

Design + Motion Creative

Design original, platform-native social content, everything from reactive memes to evergreen brand formats Create short-form motion graphics for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts using Adobe Suite or equivalent Bring static content to life through animation, transitions, and storytelling techniques tailored to each platform Develop key visuals, content templates, and social systems that scale across franchises and formats Ensure all work maintains brand consistency while pushing visual boundaries Campaign & Content Development

Translate social strategies into creative ideas and content that drives engagement and relevance Partner with Strategists and Producers to concept brand moments, creator drops, and real-time campaigns Support tentpole campaigns, editorial calendars, and content franchises with strong visual POVs Adapt visuals for reactive use and low-lift remixing across formats, ratios, and community spin-offs What We’re Looking For

Experience in art direction, visual design, or motion graphics in a social-first or content-driven environment A strong portfolio of design and motion work that lives on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or similar platforms Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent motion tools (CapCut, Canva, etc.) Deep understanding of social aesthetics, meme culture, internet humor, and Gen Z visual language Ability to concept and execute visual ideas quickly, with creative agility and attention to platform dynamics Experience working across third-party IP, creator content, or entertainment brands is a plus Bonus: 3D, typography animation, or sound design capabilities What You’ll Thrive On at DANG
