Fund Accounting Manager - Manhattan NY - Private Equity
Our team is working with a leading private equity fund based in NYC looking to hire a Fund Controller to their growing team. This is a newly created position due to growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
Manage investor inquiries via the servicing inbox with timely, accurate responses
Post investor documents to the portal, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Maintain CRM (Salesforce) and portal (eFront) data; track investor activity
Support capital calls, distributions, and related transactions
Ensure investor communications meet firm policies and standards
Collaborate with finance teams (treasury, fund accounting, reporting, etc.)
Assist with onboarding new investors and evolving service processes
Help complete investor DDQs and related deliverables
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of hands‑on fund accounting/reporting experience required
B.S. in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
Self‑starter that is able to self‑motivate to work in a mostly remote team setting
Strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, expert modeling and spreadsheet capabilities
This is a full‑time hybrid position (3 days in the office & 2 days at home). It offers up to $170K base, bonus, and strong benefits.
