$20.00/hr – $30.00/hr Position Summary
As an Advanced CNC Manufacturing Technician, you will set up and operate horizontal and vertical machining centers, edit and optimize G code programs, perform first‑article inspections, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement. You will document all work in the ERP system, maintain GMP standards, and keep 5S practices up to date. Responsibilities
Set up and operate HMCs and VMCs for production runs and prototypes. Edit G‑code and propose improvements to existing programs to enhance quality and throughput. Collaborate with engineering, supervision, and manufacturing teams to exchange technical know‑how and drive continuous improvement. Interpret blueprints and verbal instructions; apply a practical understanding of GD&T. Perform meticulous in‑process checks and a comprehensive machine‑side “First Piece” inspection before submitting for First Article approval. Record precise job times in the ERP system and coordinate with production planning for accurate scheduling. Demonstrate good machining practices (GMP), maintain 5S, and adhere to all safety procedures. Qualifications
5+ years as a CNC machinist with proven production set‑up capability. Fluency in G‑code, CNC tooling strategies, blueprint reading, and GD&T fundamentals. Comfort with precision hand tools: pin gages, micrometers, calipers. Experience with CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) – Mazak, Haas, Doosan; CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) – Mazak. Full personal tool set suitable for CNC operations. High School Diploma (or equivalent); completion of an accredited apprenticeship or 2‑year technical program is valued. English language proficiency; dependable, positive, team‑oriented mindset. Benefits
