Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

The human resources coordinator provides quality guest service to internal and external guests upon entering the administration building. They are responsible for maintaining and updating confidential data within Human Resources.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintain front desk reception area including opening and closing the office

Responsible for the data entry in the HRIS system

Operate a multi-line phone

Maintain databases including records of counsel and terminations

Assist walk-in applicants and review applications for completeness

Retrieve drug test results for new hires

Assist in completion of new hire paperwork, and ensure paperwork and disclosures are complete

Create and distribute the orientation list to training coordinator

Collect and complete Forms I-9 and submit data to E-Verify system

Communicate benefits eligibility to team members

Creates reports to assist in the maintenance of team members’ signature cards in accordance with the System of Internal Controls

Create and maintain employee personnel folders in accurate and timely manner

Sort and distribute department mail and faxes

Complete employee verification requests

File personnel paperwork on a regular basis

Order office supplies

Distribute exit surveys, paperwork, and last paychecks for terminated team members

Process Illinois Gaming Board badges for team members

Assist Human Resources team with administrative and human resources related duties

Qualification Requirements

Must be 21 years of age

HS Degree or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position

Above average computer skills and be fluent in Microsoft office Media (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
