Position Summary

As a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates who create and serve meals to our members. You will model expertise in Prepared Foods and Café and collaborate with other team leaders to meet the member’s expectations. What you'll do

Be a Team Leader: supervise the prepared foods departments (e.g., cafe, rotisserie, and prepared foods), manage rotations, meet business goals, communicate department goals, implement company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company. Be an Expert: maintain knowledge of floor and backroom operations; ensure standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance; manage seasonality and production; understand new products, recipes, processes; collaborate with associates and third parties to ensure resources and training. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for decisions related to production, training, and product quality; encourage adoption of new tools. Be an Owner: drive business results, maintain operational excellence, plan for profitability, keep the prepared foods area neat, staffed appropriately, and compliant; coordinate with other departments and partners to ensure continuity; implement merchandising per plan. Be a Talent Ambassador: train and develop the team; encourage career growth; source new talent; develop and implement processes to meet business needs; promote compliance with policies and ethics; lead and participate in teams; support change and adapt to new challenges. The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 to $31.00. Additional compensation in premiums may apply. Health, financial, PTO, other benefits, and Live Better U program details are provided in the original posting. Minimum Qualifications

6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications

Supervising a team; Food Handler Certification. Primary Location
