Our Risk Advisory Services practice, a specialty area within our Consulting group, provides enterprise risk management, internal audit outsourcing and co‑sourcing, business process optimization, SOC, compliance and control assurance, and Sarbanes‑Oxley services to clients across industries.
As a
Risk Advisory Staff – Third‑Party Assessor , you will perform third‑party wage and hour compliance assessments in support of one of the largest clients of our firm. You will be part of a team that values quality, integrity and collaboration.

We are open to individuals working remotely for this opportunity if they are within driving distance from our clients and offices in Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA.
What You’ll Do
Provide high quality professional day‑to‑day execution of third‑party wage and hour compliance assessments, including document management and data input.
Input and analyze vendor payroll and timekeeping data.
Perform assessments efficiently and accurately to meet team and client expectations.
Conduct interviews or inquiries of third‑party contractors.
Maintain detailed records of assessment procedures performed, findings, and communications to support audit trails.
Communicate directly with client and internal team.
Make initial determination of assessment results and, where necessary, create draft reports for management and client review.
Issue reports to be addressed with third‑parties and follow‑up to ensure corrective action is taken.
Effectively manage multiple assessments at a time to meet individual and team goals.
Efficiently manage the assessment process to meet critical KPIs and accurately track progress.
Collaborate and work effectively with a team.
What You’ll Need Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Internal Audit‑related field.
Prior professional experience supporting or facilitating business processes (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
Other:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
Advanced Excel user with expertise in pivot tables, VLOOKUP and data analysis.
Strong analytical skills to research, collect and analyze information to identify patterns and make informed decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to work within multiple technology platforms to obtain necessary information to complete assessments.
