Responsibilities This position is for a Systems Engineer on the F-35 Physical Maintenance Training Devices (PMTD) Integrated Product Team (IPT) within the Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) Integrated Engineering line of business. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will work with a team of multi‑discipline engineers to analyze, design, document, test, and sustain a suite of five different training products within the PMTD portfolio. The selected candidate must possess good communication and technical skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, write technical documents, and facilitate sub‑system level testing within our Orlando labs. Occasionally, you may also be asked to travel to one of our customer sites for system‑level integration, testing, and troubleshooting with our products.
Please Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance (not required to start).

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field with at least 1 year of related professional experience (or no experience required with a related Master’s Degree)
Experience maturing system requirements, performing systems integration, or systems verification
Exposure to fundamental Systems Engineering principles
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, but work independently on assigned work
Career interest in working all aspects of the Systems Engineering "V"
Desired Skills
Active Secret Clearance
2 or more years of technical experience within Systems or Hardware Engineering
Experience working on cross‑functional teams (Hardware, Systems, Software)
Integration and test experience
Training and/or experience in Agile system development methodologies
Experience with one or more of the following engineering tool suites: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools (DOORS Next, EWM, ETM)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Remote Work Policy Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Pay Range (National) The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
Pay Range (Premium) The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $80,600 - $139,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
