Perkins Coie is seeking a private investment funds associate to join its Financial Regulations group in the New York or Washington, DC office. Experience in the following areas is desired: Structuring and formation of private equity funds, venture capital funds or hedge funds, including drafting of fund documents Negotiation with limited partners on behalf of fund sponsors Review of subscription documents Representation of private or institutional investors in their investments into private investment funds Structuring general partner and management companies Working knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 Qualifications

Compensation range: $260,000 to $390,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
