Position Summary The Graphic Designer reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for the design of corrugate, folding carton, and flexible film materials. This role develops innovative and functional packaging artwork that aligns with brand standards, meets structural and production requirements, and enhances shelf presence.
Responsibilities
Design and execute artwork for corrugate, folding cartons, and flexible films, ensuring compliance with structural, branding, and regulatory requirements.
Create dielines, mock‑ups, and print‑ready files for production.
Collaborate with packaging engineers and vendors to ensure feasibility and quality.
Develop creative packaging concepts that strengthen brand recognition and improve customer experience.
Adapt existing designs for different sizes, product lines, and materials.
Prepare files for offset, flexographic, lithographic, and digital printing processes.
Review and approve pre‑production proofs, ensuring accurate color, layout, and print specifications.
Work with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align design with product goals and timelines.
Communicate with packaging suppliers and print vendors to confirm technical requirements.
Maintain organized digital asset libraries and version control for artwork files.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field.
2+ years of experience in the packaging industry.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and packaging CAD/dieline software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
Strong understanding of packaging materials and processes, including theories and concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with various levels within the organization and customers.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various vendors and customers.
