In this role, your primary focus is the enhancement of the customer experience for all members and guests during their use of the Desert Mountain golf facilities. It is a proactive position that continually engages with our clientele in a positive and professional manner that consistently elevates the service touch point. The Ambassador is an exceptional communicator and is committed to providing a world‑class service experience that aligns with the Club’s standard of excellence.

The ideal candidate will be a team player possessing a positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills; a professional who is passionate about golf and delivering world‑class service. Prior experience in golf operation is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record within the last 3 years.

Job Details Responsibilities

Greet and interact with members/guests in a professional and enthusiastic manner during their use of the practice facility and all other golf amenities.

Practice and promote name recognition.

Clean member/guest clubs while “Walking the Line” of the range set.

Ensure that all players arrive to the tee for their designated starting time.

Actively communicate with the Golf Shop, Outside Services and Starter as necessary.

Monitor short game areas and pick/replenish balls when needed.

Support the designated Range Attendant during periods of increased activity.

Assist with the setup and execution of all golf tournaments and events.

Aid members/guests with any additional special requests; ensure all needs are met.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times; be cognizant of presentation/perception.

Engage with members/guests during periodic ride‑arounds of the golf course(s) while simultaneously monitoring pace of play.

Support the Outside Services team during high volume periods. Duties may include the following: Prepare, operate, and maintain cart fleet per course (including club utility vehicles); Assist members/guests with all pre- and post‑round needs.

Maintain familiarity with the Master Calendar and all current/upcoming event happenings via Club communications and information shared by Golf Leadership.

Attend mandatory golf meetings.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Required to work in an outdoor working environment – Regularly.

Exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather – Regularly.

Required to lift and/or up to 50 pounds – Frequently.

Required to push and/or pull up to 50 pounds – Occasionally.

Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required to stand for long periods of time.

Valid Driver's License.
