Guest Service Agent - Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead is searching for a full-time Guest Service Agent to join their team! This beautiful property has 326 suites and is in the Buckhead fashion district between Lenox Mall, Phipps Plaza, and The Shoppes at Buckhead – just blocks from a MARTA rail station.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for providing exceptional service, possess excellent teamwork skills, maintain open availability, and have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Guest Service Agent. Previous experience with Hilton and working knowledge of OnQ are required.

Shift Pattern:

Full open availability required including weekdays, weekends, and holidays between 7 am – 11:30 pm.

Pay Rate:

$15.75 per hour plus upsell incentives.

What I will be doing

Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest info and room rate, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet, and ensuring guests know their room location.

Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area, and answer guest questions and inquiries.

Use upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy.

Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

Field guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.

Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests.
