Overview Are you a creative, detail‑oriented, and driven professional with a passion for developing innovative premium protein products? Schweid & Sons is looking for a Commercialization Brand Manager to add to our team. Reporting to the Director of Innovation, this role will be responsible for driving both top and bottom‑line growth through innovations that will outpace the market via collaboration on the development of 3‑5 year strategy and innovation pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead the Innovation and Commercialization process for all channels, including fuzzy front end and exploration, innovation and line extensions, renovation and/or quality improvement, packaging new or existing changes, cost savings initiatives, and other business continuity efforts.

Storytelling, both in‑person and written, for senior leadership, customer presentations, and organizational alignment.

Develop project plans and timelines with cross‑functional teams, understanding interdependencies, implications, risks, and key milestones.

Monitor progress of project action items and completed tasks from development through completion, making adjustments to timelines and documenting changes and risks.

Lead analytics and forecasting for innovation initiatives, identify risks and opportunities, drive gap‑closure plans, and manage the innovation budget.

Facilitate the Stage‑Gate process to ensure projects are presented for gate moves, scope updates, and the appropriate timing.

Drive/support business process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies within Commercialization/Stage Gate processes and interdepartmentally.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required.

Minimum 3‑5 years of experience within a food marketing environment.

Experience with Brand Management, Innovation strategy, and/or traditional Food marketing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail‑oriented, strong organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a specified budget and timeline.

Ability to work effectively with all functional areas at all levels.

PMP or NPDMP certification is a plus but not required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Analytical skills to develop presentations and reports.

Benefits

Compensation: $100,000–$135,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
