Loan Review Officer - Loan Review (Two Positions Available)
Location: 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Remote work from home; may occasionally attend in-person meetings. Full-time schedule.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a business-related field required. Accounting or Finance major preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review, or Credit Analysis capacity required.
RMA Credit Risk Certification preferred.
Job Description Summary:
Under the direction of the Loan Review Manager or assistant manager, provide assistance for the independent and objective evaluation of the quality of the loan portfolio, the adequacy of loan documentation, and the effectiveness of loan administration functions. Assist with the effective communication of results from reviews, in verbal and written forms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Use thorough knowledge of commercial and consumer lending, banking laws and regulations, to effectively assist with the assessment of credit risk and the monitoring of compliance with loan policy, policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
Assist with identification and assessment of credit, legal and strategic risks arising from lending activities.
Assess the collectability of extensions of credit through review of customer financial information, collateral information and documentation, and payment history. Assigns appropriate risk grades to reflect relative risk of default or loss. Recommends corrective actions to assist with resolution or workout of problem situations.
Evaluate adequacy of loan and collateral documentation and the effectiveness of loan administration.
Review commercial credits of all types and complexities.
Ability to lead exit meetings for unit reviews
Work under the supervision of the Loan Review Department Manager or assistant manager.

Banking is a highly regulated industry; acquire and maintain proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations applicable to your conduct and work. Complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
Ability to write reports for management that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to management and other employee levels within the organization.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of technical and financial information and deal with both subjective and concrete variables.
Develop a good working knowledge of commercial lending, including collateral documentation, generally accepted practices and financial analysis skills.
Willingness to work as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to utilize tools provided in performing job responsibilities.
