to join their HR team and support inclusive hiring initiatives. This role plays a key part in driving recruitment strategy, building community partnerships, and ensuring a positive candidate experience across the organization.
Job Description The Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in fostering inclusive employment practices. The ideal candidate enjoys relationship building, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and manage job requisitions through the applicant tracking system.
Create and post job openings across multiple channels, including Paycom.
Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring managers through selection processes.
Organize and participate in hiring events, community job fairs, and outreach efforts.
Build relationships with local workforce programs, colleges, and community partners to expand candidate pipelines.
Maintain accurate recruiting records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Support onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Promote inclusive recruitment practices in alignment with organizational goals and values.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience; nonprofit or government program experience preferred.
Proficiency with Paycom, WorkInTexas, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse candidate populations.
Proven success in full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding.
Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (experience may substitute for degree).
