Overview
We are seeking two highly experienced Scrum Masters to support a large-scale Agile transformation within the Consumer Product Technology division of our client. 19 teams are transitioning to Agile methodologies and Jira, with each team at a different level of Agile maturity. These Scrum Masters will guide 7-8 delivery teams across Salt Lake City, UT and Birmingham, AL, supporting the rollout of Agile best practices, Jira adoption, team coaching, and process refinement. Responsibilities
Serve as Scrum Master for 3-4 Agile teams, supporting daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives Act as a servant leader and Agile coach for teams with varying levels of Agile exposure Drive the adoption and optimization of Jira, including building custom dashboards and reports using rich filters and automating workflows to improve team visibility Train and support Product Owners in backlog management and user story development Coach teams on Agile principles, team sizing rubrics, estimation techniques, and anti-pattern correction Promote a culture of continuous improvement and servant leadership Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including current Scrum Masters, RTEs, Technical Managers, and Product leadership Support transition from TFS to Jira and assist in planning for future PI Planning sessions Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Minimum 6 continuous years as a Scrum Master 6 years of Project Management experience, ideally within IT or software development environments Hands-on experience with various Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, XP, Crystal Deep expertise with Jira (automation, boards, dashboards, workflows, reporting) Strong Agile coaching, team leadership, and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in writing user stories and coaching teams on story sizing and estimation Comfortable working onsite 3 days per week and traveling up to 1-2 times per quarter to Birmingham, AL Preferred
Advanced Scrum certifications: PSM II, CSP, PMI-ACP, or similar Experience in banking or financial services The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
