Job Description We are seeking an experienced temporary adjunct faculty member in Health Education to teach graduate-level courses at Cambridge College Puerto Rico, San Patricio Campus. The position requires bilingual fluency (Spanish and English), expertise in the Health Education field, and a strong record of Health Education teaching and leadership in higher education.

Course Delivery At Cambridge College Puerto Rico, courses are offered in a dual-language format (Spanish and English). English is the primary language for course design and presentation, while Spanish is the main instructional language. Candidates must be fluent in both languages.

Schedule & Location Courses are delivered in a hybrid format on weekends, at pre-scheduled dates and times, on our San Patricio, Puerto Rico Campus.

Requirements

Doctoral degree with a specialization in Health Education, Public Health, Health Promotion, or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited U.S. higher education graduate institution.

Four (4) or more years of experience teaching at the higher education level in the field of Health Education or four (4) or more years of supervisory or leadership experience in educational or public health systems.

Demonstrated experience teaching with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Canvas.

Evidence of being current and updated in the field of Health Education, including knowledge of recent research, health education policies, and best practices.

Graduate-level teaching experience and a record of scholarly publications or professional contributions in Health Education are highly desirable.

Note: Candidates with only a master's degree will not be considered, as the Cambridge College Puerto Rico programs are graduate-level.

If you operate a University owned, leased or personal vehicle at any time while performing your duties you must follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual. You must have a valid driver's license and must successfully pass the online safe Driving Course and driving record check at time of hire and annually thereafter. Additionally, you must report any driving offense, on or off company time, which causes a loss, suspension, or any other change in your license status. You must report this change within one business day of the offense. You can report this change to the Human Resource Department or your direct supervisor. Failure to do so can lead to disciplinary action, up to and including terminations.

Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

General knowledge of the University's mission, purpose, and goals and the role this position plays in achieving those goals.
