About the Role: In this role, you'll teach sections of Global Perspectives, an interdisciplinary gateway course designed for students across all majors. This course is a vital component of our general education curriculum and serves as an introduction to higher learning across disciplines. Course Overview
The Global Perspectives course aligns with key institutional and accreditation standards, including SUNY General Education (SUNY-GE) and Middle States Commission on Higher Education requirements. Specifically, it addresses: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Social Justice World History & Global Awareness Critical Thinking and Information Literacy competencies Students in this course explore themes of values, ethics, cultural and global awareness, and cultural sensitivity to deepen their understanding of diverse perspectives and prepare them as global citizens. We are seeking adjuncts who can teach this course on campus face-to-face. Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Master's degree or 12 graduate credit hours in a humanities and/or cross-cultural coursework Preferred Qualifications: College teaching experience Additional Information
Our Adjunct Rates start at $1,500 per lecture credit and $1,125 per lab credit.
