As a member of the Emergency Department, you will support the Licensed Independent Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and Unit Secretary in delivering efficient patient care.
Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care to newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrates effective and professional communication with patients, visitors, EMS personnel, and hospital staff.
Maintains responsibility and accountability for the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of unit equipment and supplies.
Maintains an active, working knowledge of the Credentialing Competencies required for Emergency Services Technicians.
Consistently demonstrates professionalism in both appearance and conduct.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Previous patient care experience in an Emergency environment and/or with children strongly preferred.
Skills
Basic medical terminology.
Computer familiarity.
Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
Licensure
Current American Heart Association BLS for Provider certification required.
CNA, MA or EMT preferred.
Pay Range USD $21.70 - $29.39 per hour.
