Leesburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries including Government, and more. This is a Part-Time Armed Patrol role. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, interact with employees and visitors, deliver customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Day Time: Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the premises, adhering to established guidelines and protocols Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms in accordance with company and local regulations Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements
Possess a current and valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations Have at least 6 months of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Participate in industry-specific security training programs Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us
