Employment Details Designation: Adjunct / Part-Time Faculty Employment Type: Temporary - Part-time Hours per week: Varies Work Schedule: Varies
Education Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree in the discipline.

Responsibilities
Developing and/or updating course syllabus
Preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments
Meet all designated class periods
Maintain regularly scheduled office hours
Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
Submit completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
Qualifications
Doctorate or master's degree in related field
Experience teaching undergraduate/graduate courses
Competence, effectiveness, and capacity in teaching
