Overview

Our retail client in the Greater Boston area is looking for a hybrid Digital Designer with 5+ years experience for an immediate contract to hire role—ideally looking for experience in the fashion or footwear industry. Projects may range from design for product and landing pages to social media, emails and digital assets with some print projects thrown in as well. (Signage, POP, or potentially direct mail are some examples.) Responsibilities

Uphold graphic and brand standards to ensure a consistent and compelling visual identity across all platforms and campaigns while maintaining production accuracy. Prepare, refine, and adapt creative assets for print and digital marketing across all channels for the brand. Translate consistent company brand campaigns into designs that ensure the voice of the brand is captured in all marketing materials. Ensure all files meet production and vendor specifications, including color accuracy, resolution and layout standards. Work closely with other members of the creative team to translate concepts into final deliverables. Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Maintain an organized file structure and adhere to workflow processes. Troubleshoot and optimize files for print and digital production. Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager. Qualifications

5+ years experience across Design roles, ideally in footwear or fashion industries Demonstrated understanding of responsive design and web standards and best practices specifically for ecommerce design Experience creating and managing digital design systems, web style guides, digital brand books, high fidelity prototypes. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Interest in collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams (brand, marketing, development) in a fun, but fast-paced environment. Strong visual style and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, usability and information architecture affect design and navigation. Effective communications skills; have a point of view about your designs. Deep knowledge of current digital technologies and interactive capabilities across devices as they relate to usability principles and techniques. Organized and detail-oriented; ability to think holistically from an omnichannel perspective. Capable of constructive collaboration with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. Ability to self-motivate, effectively prioritize work, and own project deadlines for on-time delivery.
