Job Overview
Air Engineers is seeking a
Territory Manager
in our Orlando, FL location responsible for managing and growing HVAC product sales within a designated territory. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and supporting HVAC contractors, dealers, and other key partners. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge of HVAC products with outstanding sales, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets by promoting and selling Air Engineers’ HVAC products and services.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the territory.
Develop sales plans and execute strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with HVAC contractors, dealers, and business partners.
Provide excellent customer support by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
Conduct regular visits to customer sites to strengthen partnerships.
Assist dealers with product selection, order support, and warranty issues.
Help dealers understand co‑op funds, rebates, incentive trips, and programs.
Offer technical and sales training to dealers to drive revenue growth.
Maintain detailed CRM records of calls, visits, quotes, and issues and keep an up‑to‑date Outlook calendar.
Stay current with HVAC industry trends, technologies, and product offerings.
Provide product demonstrations, technical guidance, and training for customers.
Act as a resource for customers regarding product selection, applications, and troubleshooting.
Partner with inside sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activity.
Perform regular in‑person dealer visits and conduct a minimum of 10 cold calls per week.
Participate in trade shows, training events, and promotional activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
Minimum Experience: 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in HVAC, industrial distribution, or related industries.
Strong understanding of HVAC system, components, and applications (or ability and willingness to learn quickly).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent customer service and selling skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Proficiency using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel within assigned territory.
A valid driver’s license is required.
